Biography for

Susan (Hobart) Salisbury

Susan Hobart attended Dyke University after graduation and received an Associate in Secretarial Sciences degree. She worked as an Administrator to the Treasurer of MTD Products until 1997. She still resides in Brecksville where she has served as a mentor at the Chippewa Elementary School for ten years, and she is a Stephen Ministry Leader and Minister.

Twelve years ago she married Donald Salisbury, having been a widow for some time. Susan has two children and two grandchildren whom she visits often. She has made trips to visit her daughters and grandchildren in Whidbey Island in Washington State and also in Washington, D. C., as well as Cincinnati, Ohio. Visiting them at first proved difficult, since she wasn't used to traveling alone and driving herself, but she rose to the challenge and together with her little yorkie made the trips, growing as a person, mother, sister, daughter, and finally grandmother.

Susan enjoys quilting, reading, and going on cruises. She has traveled to England, the Cayman Islands, Tortola, and often travels to Tennessee where she and Donald enjoy their condo.

She has fond memories of taking part in the Senior Play and playing the piano for the high school choir.
