Biography for

Laureen (Metz) Beckler

Laureen attended Bowling Green State University, Ohio State University, Fenn College, and Cleveland State University, receiving a degree in Social Work. She is currently an interior designer and realtor.

She and her husband Nathan ('59) have been married 48 years and have 4 sons and seven grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and have renovated several homes, doing much of the work themselves. Their current home was originally built in 1929 as a speakeasy on 15 acres of woods. They have kept 8 acres with a totally rebuilt contemporary home in which they have lived for 30 years.

Laureen enjoys photography, and loves warm weather and swimming in lakes rather than pools.
