Biography for Rosanna (Nicoletti) Briscar After graduation Rosanna and two friends went to California where they stayed two months. After returning home she went to business school. She then worked at TRW as a key punch operator. In 1965 Rosanna married Richard Briscar and they resided in New Jersey where Richard was stationed with the army at Fort Monmouth. After one year they returned home and their daughter, Nancy, was born. First they resided in Independence, Ohio, but moved to Seven Hills, Ohio, when their son, Curt, was born in 1970. During these years Rosanna worked in the Parma schools as a teacher’s aide and noon time lunch and playground supervisor. Upon completion of the Red Cross coarse, she worked in private home care for 18 years. Rosanna and Richard lived 32 years in Seven Hills before moving with Rosanna’s mother to Parma where they now reside in a condo community. They have enjoyed living in Parma and look forward to many more years there. Richard and Rosanna spend a great deal of time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoy traveling at their leisure. For the last few years they have begun a new ritual for summer vacations by renting a place on Catawba Island where the grandchildren can play at the beach, enjoy going to Cedar Point, and have fun with backyard barbecues. |
