Biography for

Carolyn (Soucek) Linkhorn

 

After graduation Carolyn took two college courses on medical terminology then worked for the dean at Ohio University, the Film Library of Lakewood Hospital, and finally as a secretary/bookkeeper for the Teamsters #52 Health & Welfare Fund until 2008 when she retired.

She and her husband Craig have three children and two grandchildren, one of whom graduated from BBHS. Her love for gardening gained her recognition when she received the Kamm's Corner Certificate of Recognition in 2000 for yard beautification and she is a member of the N.E. Ohio Hosta Club. She also enjoys golf; Bingo; casino gambling; traveling in the U.S. and Canada; movies; theater; reading mystery novels and true crime; and making rendering of hostas in acrylics, watercolor, pen and ink ,and pastels. Something unusual that she enjoyed was paddling a raft on the Galley River.
