A memento of a happy couple enjoying retirement. 

One of the final happy snapshots of Richard and Judy, partners for 44 years. This photograph was taken by a member of our travel group in South Africa a day or so before returning to Huntsville, Alabama on May 4, 2009, and approximately three months before Judy’s death. It was taken at our end-of-travel adventure dinner.  From her expression, you can probably tell that Judy was happy enjoying her passion for travel, completely unaware of what she would soon be facing, Stage IV Cancer.
